People have spoken about empowerment but its meaningless without application – In real life, at workplace and in society in general. Of course, very little can change with every iteration, but this is our start. We also know that mere stories don’t make a difference. We need systemic changes, fast paced yet solid changes, societal mind-set changes and a whole lot of collaborations.

The Mazerunners

Beginning our career journeys are always exciting and gives a high to all of us. Equally it is sometimes rather overwhelming and leaves us confused and entangled in a myriad web of wants, desires, goals, achievements, purpose.
This session caters to that segment of women who have just started off their careers and are keen to charter one helluva journey!

The Brave Builders

The middle career stories are the ones that are always coloured with home responsibilities, parenting and other duties of life. The big question is always maintaining the worklife balance and keeping focus through milestone life stages, issues and career spikes. The sessions in this segment will enable the middlers by to create and build sustainable models of success in their personal and professional life.

Movers and Shakers

Leaders are role models and teams look upto them for inspiration. They influence and impact minds, behavior and culture of Organizations. Shedding biases and stereotypes hence becomes an integral part of becoming that Inspirational Inclusive Leader. By participating in the session, every Leader will gain perspective and embark on the their own personal journey of discovery.

WOMEN OWING THE SPACE

Anjali Khurana
Anjali is an actor, dance choreographer, voice artist, activist and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, She pursued her passion for dance and theater from a young age. She was a part of the US Consulate Artists residency program, 2017. She will be performing a dance piece choreographed by herself on “Women and Owning the Space’ based on poetry written by herself. This comes from her own experience as she celebrates ‘Women’ and their power to change their circumstances.

Learning from someone’s story has always been the most powerful tool that we have. This segment simply does that. We have some real inspiring career stories from different walks of life to inspire, motivate and move us to greater heights.

DIAL IN & DIAL OUT – CAREER MAPPING

5-6 years into our worklife, we get to encounter a myriad of different life changing events which seems to ensure that our focus gets divided amongst everything. Suddenly there are speed breakers and we need to slow down to accept and integrate responsibilities. It is the time when we are building our lives. Most often than not, this can become very overwhelming and we tend to get a bit lost. Career Mapping helps us to create self awareness around what are our personal and professional goals and how we can navigate them to create a fulfilling life.

STAND UP COMEDY

Kajol Srivastava
A comedian who is half Tamilian, half Bengali, like 2 Chetan Bhagat novels in 1. She has been in this field for a year now, has won the canvas laugh club open mic, took part in the artists residency organized by Akshara and the US consulate on women’s empowerment and does curated shows. She is a graphic designer by day and an avid ballroom dancer.

Anusree Bonnerjee & Sudipta Dhruva
Ardhanarishvara (अर्धनारीश्वर, Ardhanārīśvara), is an androgynous deity composed of Shiva and his consort Shakthi, representing the synthesis of masculine and feminine energies. The Ardhanari form also illustrates how the female principle of God, Shakti, is inseparable from the male principle of God, Shiva.
